This video has a special place in my heart, I’m Samoan, but my grandfather was from Tonga, the island of Vava’u His name was Sione Pita Tupou, son of Vaimoana and Pita Tupou, I always wanted to go to Vava’u being the youngest of six siblings, but we have to keep our grandfathers dying wish, was for us never to set foot on Tongan soil, or learn the language, I will never understand the reason why, but watching your video really touched my heart and to wonder who my family is in Vava’u, looks like a beautiful island, thank you Eli, I really appreciate this video
I love this kind of content, so wholesome and real. It’s so interesting to see how different islands do different things. Loveeeee. Your mama is crack up 🤣 wish I could understand what you guys are saying
What a tearjerker. Thanks so much for sharing your trip back home. Your grandmother stole our hearts. Your family, your roots, your homeland/island are beautiful.
Thank you for bringing us along. My island is on the other side of the world from yours but I didn't get to see my gramma before she passed. I hope you have many more years with her, including the teasing that only grandmother's can give. Thank you for reminding me of the joy my grandmother was in my life, even if it made me cry a little too ❤
Ofa atu Tokoua, love your content toko, my dad was born and raised in Vava'u in Holonga, as for myself i was born and raised in Tonga, it always hits different toko when its time to leave, goodbyes are never easy toko, but man keep them vlogs coming 🔥🔥
Love the segment of home and where it all began brother. It hits hard and different visiting your roots and hometown. On top of that all your Grandma. She’s a lovely and humorous lady.
omg while watching with my parents my mum notice her cousin she hadn't in a long time (the skipper) 19:45 their mothers are sisters. what a small world!! love the family content!
I miss vava’u. I was there last in 2006. My friends family owns the Tongan beach resort on vava’u. Stayed there a few days and loved the church across the lagoon on Sunday singing the church songs while we there. The ota on vava’u was still the best I’ve ever had. I need to go back.
