Is it better to buy or sew a dress from Reformation? I've been sewing for over 20 years, and "buy or sew" is a question I ask myself constantly. I love what Reformation puts out, but I can never quite find the exact combination of style, fabric, and price that actually works for me, so I decided to put that to an actual test.

In this video, I go through Reformation's website and break down what I love (and don't) about each one: style, fit, fabric, length, and how their sizing actually holds up. Then I design and sketch my own dress inspired by everything I saw, source real fabric, and do the actual math, materials cost vs. retail price, including what it'd look like with labor factored in.

By the end I give my honest take on if it's better to buy or sew.
