The Yemeni Armed Forces announced their continued advance on the western coast as part of the approved plans for the battle to end the coup, while military sources confirmed the deaths of dozens of Houthi militia members during the operations. The sources reported that government forces advanced northward under heavy air cover, besieging Houthi elements in the Bab al-Mandab sector and on Mayyun Island. The Armed Forces also announced the liberation of the Dhubab district, a significant development near the strategic strait. For his part, Rashad al-Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, announced the launch of Operation "Dawn of Yemen," emphasizing that it aims to restore state institutions, liberate Sana'a, and end the coup. Al-Alimi stated that Yemen, with the will of its people, the bravery of its forces, and the support of its brothers, will move towards what he described as a "new dawn."
