I love taking RC Cars to the Beach, so I decided to built what I think would be the Ultimate Beach RC Car. This Hobao Hyper SS Truggy will do over 50mph and is absolutely crazy!

You do realise you’ve created a new possible race series

I wonder if he knows the whole cage flips forward to make it easier to work on! 😂

Hobao is criminally underrated! I have the SSTE and what a great truck. Quality is amazing, gets along wonderfully at the track, and is more than sturdy enough to be a proper basher. Plus it's WAYYY lighter than a kraton 6s

Oldschool trick for rusty screws: First let them rust, then apply a drop of oldschool oil on there or engine oil and just gently massage it with a toothbrush and then leave it. The screw is now fixed and will not rust any more.

I think you may have stumbled across a new genre - Beach Basher. Love it.

What a great setup. You really created a cool beach buggy Mr. Tomley. This RC is much more practical than the Traxxas Funco 2wd.

Nice glue job Phil, the tire companies can use your skills to ensure repeat business

Something I've learned from riding full suspension mountain bikes - if you want to wheelie it consistently give it a little blip of throttle first and then lay in. If you time it right, your second throttle pull will be assisted by the rebound of the front suspension and it'll come up off the ground no problem

Too cool! The company has been around as long I can remember.

ACF-50 is the very product for corrosion protection. Anyone with a motorbike will attest to this

I have some extra cash and have been tossing around the idea of getting a new RC vehicle. This is it. This is the one. I walk my dog to the beach. That's the perfect vehicle. Never seen it before
