When they win, they say, "The public has spoken," but when they lose, they say, "Vote chori."

Critical and rational thinking are out the window. Everything happening is treated like it's black or white, good vs evil, while the actual situations are so much more intricate and nuanced.

A genuine question.. Indian constitution says Article 15,16,19,29 & 30 are only for Indian citizens.. Not for foreigner.. And Art. 19 talks about freedom of speech., & Dhruv rathee is a foreign National.. So, does he have the Freedom of Speech?

What permission? You don't need a permission, you just need to inform the police.

What happens if you give a freehand to the protestors in the name of Democracy ? France & Belgium are right there for reference.

For Bengalis Today is an auspicious day. Instead of watching Mahalaya we have to watch this on every social media right now. The Puja vibe is nowhere now.

Whatever....people should be allowed to protest....brothers , in future , this will become an example . No matter congress or tmc or cpi or sp, whoever is in command will do the same . Those who favour the goverment ,same will happen to everyone by each government

I honestly don’t know what’s going on these days. While people have every right to protest for their causes, it’s frustrating to see how these frequent protests disrupt jobs, college, and daily travel. In the end, it’s the working-class people who suffer the most. Sometimes, living in Delhi sometimes feels exhausting. 😢 when almost every month brings another disruption to everyday life. 😢

Person Behind the Uniform has a family whose votes can be snatched without any reason. Police must start non-cooperation. Otherwise the system will grind to a painful halt and India suffers because of current Govt.
