Émile Diaz, known as Milou, is one of the last survivors of the French Connection, the largest drug network that controlled heroin trafficking between France and the United States in the 1970s. Of Corsican origin, raised in a family of criminals in the Belle de Mai district of Marseille, he dedicated himself to excelling in the art of crime. Theft, robbery, maritime trafficking, and then the acquisition of base morphine in Turkey, which he transported to the laboratories of chemists tasked with producing heroin. Now 80 years old, Émile recounts his life story, sharing memories of a life of crime steeped in myth and little-known realities.

His book, "Truand" (Thug), is available.
