My mom used to make oven nachos when I was a kid and I still have never tasted a better nacho. One tip: Take a pack of corn tortillas, cut them into pizza slices, fry them and then put your cheese and pop in the oven... Money!

The only thing I would have done differently on those nachos would be to fry up my own tortilla chips. Maybe a little bit of sour cream.

For me, I buy fresh chips from the local restaurant and always use cilantro!

My wife was hungry today when we got home and grapped some tortilla chips, cheese, and jalapenos to make nachos.

While she snacked I made this and she was blown away. She said she really missed out and started eating mine.

As a quick hack, I put a soft flour tortilla in the bottom of the baking pan. Made it easier to slide onto a plate, quick clean up, and when the nachos are gone you just roll up the leftovers into burrito.
