6:09 "you better never quit" and asmon says "dont worry i have nothing better to do" and then shadowlands happened

Remember back in vanilla our GM/RL would tell us he and his wife had an app to check if you had flasks and shit in your bags lmao

So happy you watched this

I love how I'm watching a video and out of nowhere McConnell chimes in. Reminding us he's always there

Last one is spot on.
My first time, standing in Barrens, and just listening to the music was pure magic.
Now, the feeling is far from what I remebered.
Still good, but far from magic.

The first time I went from Shadowglen to Ashenvale with a Night elf, and then from camp Narache to the Crossroads with a Tauren, my teenage brain just exploded from the sheer size of the game. I'm not sure if anything will ever give that feeling ever again.

Madseason really killed it with this one
Sick video

Back then on ventrilo, I always had to ask that one friend to turn off their fan because it was fucking their mic up.

46 minutes?

Time to strap in for the ride.

35:41 Lol, a few weeks ago I had to show a co-worker, who has to use a computer several times per day, where the SPACE BAR was. Not only did I facepalm hard at that, but just typing this out just made me just cover my face in utter amazement that this was something that actually happened.

haha you and Mcconnel good way to wake up, love your banter back an forth and the fact that you guy's can take jabs at each other and just let it roll of and have fun and that Mcconnel won't let you give up and pushes you  shows me that you guy's are good friends  , And I know this all sounds  kinda sappy but just wanted to let ya both know I respect ya both keep up the good work .

The whole helping-dad-with-the-computer thing is the most common ground I've ever struck with Asmond. It's a monthly thing for me in order to stop him wanting to buy new pcs.

5:44 ironic considering what happened to faerlina

Nice to see someone, who actually 'enjoyed' reading those applicationforms, rules and other content. I used to be the writer/"designer" of those forms - and other text, as I wanted my guild (no matter how much I loved/hated it) to stand out as the best, at any time... My contribution was texts, forms and other stuff. -- thanks for the 'appriciation'. (Man, I can see its been a while since I've used the written english :-S ).

Classic just needs the transmog system so the raid gear you worked hard for will still have a purpose get upgrades, at least then, it won’t be for nothing

24:15 Final Fantasy XI's original gear philosophy had this problem solved during the 75 cap era. First off, there was tons of incredibly powerful equipment that were nowhere near max level requirement to use them that were never just automatically all obsoleted by something with a higher level requirement. Throughout the entire game there were pieces from the low levels that carried up all the way through to the highest levels. And things that came out rarely straight up just obsoleted entire pieces of gear before, certainly not entire EXPANSIONS sets of gear, they were all about filling out new niches and expanding options, not just automatically obsoleting everything that's a lower level than it.

Madseason has the voice of someone who's spent their entire gaming life trying not to wake up his parents at 3 AM

Bwahaha, Asmon's dad just had Disney After Dark installed, a screensaver. One of them was the brooms from fantasia.

There should not be a classic game but a few servers start the game from scratch every year and go through the expansion progression as originally done and consolidate at the current expansion.
