HOLY SCHIZZNIT!!! What a HAUL! 😮 And an actual authentic 23 window to boot! That is a dream find if ever there was one! But it's going to take A LOT of blood, sweat, and probably some tears to get that one back on the road. But... if anyone can...

I kind of miss those times resurrecting old VWs but not quite, wish I’d spent more time going to meetups and events. Last major project was a 62 French “VW” the 2CV. Now that my body is shot I truly could have used some of those hard days back. Thanks for your work.

It’s amazing how much better it looks with just clean wheels and tires

honestly in pretty good shape. Congrats on the 23

Cool guys! The team work was amazing and y'all made it back home safely with no  issues on the road!!!  Now the fun begins! GOOD LUCK!!!

They´re still out there. Nice find and epic rescue 👍🏻

Watching from Spain. Awesome. As a former vw owner, I love these rescues

now thats good to see....luck comes to those who wait! look forward to 23w content..

Great rescue, they’re still out there!!

My son and I did exactly the same thing.  We chased a ghost bus for 2 years until the guy finally sent us some pictures.  It paid off, 8/55 23-window Wolfsburg built Samba.  Complete including the 6-legged middle seat, crank handle and all date matched wheels, including the spare!  Stuck it in a barn.  Even if we never get to it, we still won.  The best part for me was the thrill of the hunt, and the rescue with my son.  To be honest I couldn’t care less about the bus.

What a trio! What a team VW life personified. Well done everybody.  What stories those VW’s could tell.  Best wishes on the restorations. 🤙

WoW Wow WoW  .......keep us posted on the progress.   Congratulations!!!!!    I  love that they had the original radios in it.   i need to find me one of these radios for my 67 SO42.   its a must to have

That was a true load of VWs you were able to save from the scrapper.  Good luck with all the restorations.

Wow, truly holy grail. I'd love to see the crew fix up that 23 window! Great work.

My grandparents had a 23 window bus, new, in the 1960s. I drove it, and it was slow.
I bought a new 1970 Bug, a new 1978 bus, and had a Chuck Bech Corsair dune buggy.
This is amazing. I think one of these sold recently for $200,000.00usd.
Fantastic video, guys.

A 23 window bus with a sliding sunroof! Great score Little Dude! This will be an epic build great video Little Dude

Your great perseverance is paying off

Good luck guys and look forward to seeing it finished

Wow like the  olde days!!! That is a amazing score along with the other beetles! I Liked the bicycle built for two! Good luck with whatever you do with it, sometimes old and crusty is better than new and shiny! Thanks for taking us along for the ride! Peace!!

Oh my word, how cool is this bus! If it was down here where I live, there would be only the trim and glass left.
