They should tax billionaires the same as lottery winners

The guy who won over 2 Billion as the sole winner got 448 Million after taxes.
He was the only Billionaire in history who was properly taxed.

Dolly Parton started realizing she had more wealth than she needed really early on and had no trouble ethically helping out everybody around her.

My favorite modern comedian - I love the way he tells a story, subtly exudes class consciousness, and makes his sets available to watch FOR FREE

I swear there’s always one person in each of his shows that has such a distinct laugh and it makes these specials even better cuz of the genuine joy you hear

DUDE. PREACH.

"What's the difference between a billion dollars and a million dollars? Almost a billion dollars." - AOC

“the valuation of your country- sorry… company.” he is a genius lol

Anyone else notice how Josh’s physical comedy is at a whole new level. Dude is so talented

Someone stole my identity and tried to take out 3 loans. They were rejected because my credit is trash.

The story of Will, Travis, and Susie is the perfect amount of unhinged.

Wearing crocs in NYC is like wearing fishnet gloves to take out the trash...

I love that the delivery of "My friend in Crocs." came out just like "My Brother in Christ."

Josh johnson used to be my favorite comedian.. now I'm realizing he's actually my favorite modern philosopher ❤

If the person who gets the billion dollars is somehow reading this comment section: you tell NO. ONE. You get a lawyer (not a high high end lawyer. An upper-middle class finances and contracts lawyer) and you. tell. NO ONE.
Not social media (no, you're not going to be able to hide your identity well enough. There are people who spend all day every day trying to find people and they will find you and steal your identity just for fun, just to say that they did it.)
Not your boss (you'll end up the center of the gossip pool in a minute)
That person you're thinking of? As a "well I could tell so-and-so" Nope, not even them.
Not your mom, your pastor, your grandma, your bestie of 45 years, NO ONE.
Not even your spouse. Not until you talk to money professionals.
If you have to, you can tell your therapist because you can sue them if they blab. That's it.

Next: Don't buy NUTHIN'. You take the lump sum, get a financial planner (with a fiduciary responsibility) and you STILL TELL NO ONE. Set up a trust or something for yourself, get a nice annual salary out of that and you act normal for the next couple of YEARS. And you STILL TELL NO ONE. If you wanna pay off stuff for people, you do that anonymously and you don't tell a SOUL.

Lottery winners ruin their lives because (1) everyone comes after them for money (2) they spend too much too soon. You lock most of that away, find out how to act like you got a raise, live within those means and TELL NOBODY.

He gets better and better with each show. His timing, the increase in use of physical comedy, everything. SO GOOD.

even worse, rats will often leave little shits when they're scared. He's lucky if the rat left him without leaving behind a gift

I am ashamed to say I zoned out for about 5 minutes thinking about what I would do if I won the lottery.

The work that Josh has done in the past year alone would make him the comic of the decade. He's absolutely smashing multiple shows in multiple formats with brand new content week over week and never slows down. I've never seen anything like it and I probably wouldn't believe it's possible if I wasn't seeing it.

It's amazing how Josh keeps his material so fresh AND experiments with new styles. Love the hypothetical story about you, the listener, if you were a lottery winner named Willy. It's so much more personal and effective than if he'd said "Imagine a guy named Willy winning the lottery". I was so invested in what "I" was going to do to poor Travis and Susie!
