I love their chemistry. If I have one complaint (which I understand is part of the plot and the way the characters are written) is that Jia Xu ALWAYS loves to interrogate Sang Zhi. But when Sang Zhi is the one asking the important questions or some important stuff needs to be explained, he becomes terrible at explaining himself 😵 Also, it's so weird how they're only about 4 years apart but they act like they have a double digit age gap 🤣 I understand that seniority is respected in most parts of Asia (even where I live), and that age jokes is just part of their bond because they started off as childhood friends... But it's still so weird how these two make a fuss out of it. Even weirder how the production decided to cast a 10 year old in the earlier part of the series to play the role of a 14 year old Sang Zhi.
I began watching K-Dramas during COVID, then began watching C-Dramas. I'm so glad I did. ❤ I rarely watch American shows anymore. They are lacking in so many things.
