I really love those '90s pulp hero movies: The Shadow, The Phantom, The Mask of Zorro, The Rocketeer, and Dick Tracy

"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Minty Knows."

Nice to see this movie getting some attention, seems it's mostly overlooked. I always really enjoyed it.

One of the best comic book based movies in the 90s, next to the Rocketteer and Dick Tracy

all 3 1930s period films , the rocketeer, phantom, and shadow were decent films that don't get enough love.

Tragically underrated movie.

The score by Jerry Goldsmith is terrific. As well as the song “Original Sin” by Taylor Dayne and written by the late, great Jim Steinman

I used to like listening to the old radio plays on YouTube when I was at work.  It helped pass the time, and gave me a hankering to only buy blue coal.

I've always loved this movie. It's fun to see it getting some attention.

"The weed of crime bears bitter fruit! Crime does not pay... The Shadow knows!"

Baldwin  really is a blast in this movie.....

The knife is the same prop from the golden child movie

I loved this movie as a kid. Glad to see it getting some attention.

The most unbelievable part is there being a last descendant of Ghengis Khan. I am pretty sure 1 in 3 people can probably trace their lineage to that dude. He was BUSY

STILL one the best movies.
"The sun is shining",
"But the ice is slippery".

I liked this movie, but it's been SO long since I last watched it, I actually allowed myself to forget that Tim Curry was in it!!

I'm glad to hear that it's gained popularity over time...

A very underrated movie. In addition, score is a masterpiece!

Watched this over and over again as a kid in the 90s.
Underrated gem. Fun and stylish.
My grandma would often jokingly quote in a deep voice, "who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men", since she was familiar with the radio show.

The shadow is an awesome movie

This movie, as well as The Rockteteer and The Phantom, are great movies that go together.  As a kid, I always wanted these 3 movies to do a cross over.  Heck, Throw in Dick Tracy for more fun.
