In 2027, World Youth Day (WYD), a festival for Catholic youth from around the world, will be held in Seoul, South Korea. This video is a three-year record capturing everything from the joy of the announcement of Seoul as the host city, through a pilgrimage of symbolic landmarks across the globe, and the dedication of volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes.
More than just a simple event, the Korean Church discovers new hope within this journey of people meeting and sharing God's love. Under the theme "Take courage, for I have overcome the world" (John 16:33), we invite you to experience together the mystery of the universal Church becoming one beyond differences.
May the Lord's grace be abundant upon all those taking their first steps toward the 2027 Seoul World Youth Day, which is drawing near to us.
