When people ask me if I have a teacher I always have to answer with a no. But I think I'm wrong. I've watched and ''done'' so many lessons from you that I start to believe I do have a guitar teacher haha! I wouldn't be half the player I am today if there was no Active Melody. Brian this really helps us to expand on simple chords. One thing I would like to see you do is to do a lesson, playing this, then add chord played then a riff then the next chord to a riff/melody and so on. It would be a great way to expand this tune and also give us some ideas as to how we could use some of the triads that are probably hanging around just waiting ... keep up the great work been following you a long time on and off paid version too.

You taught me well caged and pentatonics over the entire fretboard and I'm pretty decent playing.  My problem is my brain isn't as fast as my fingers

I didn’t quite get your distinction between ML and EP, but I’d love it if you could build on this tutorial next week. Maybe start with a cool intro, add a melodic improvisation in the middle, and then wrap it up or transition smoothly to tie everything together. No band, no jam track — just a fun one-man-band vibe.😊
