Omg “vape gods and lesbians” I’m ded

how do you not see the "T", the "O", the "Y", the "O", the "T" and the  "A" on the logo... they're all there

Hey, previous Toyota tech here. In the Toyota training we learned that the Toyota logo has all of the letters TOYOTA contained in the logo, also it appears similar to a thread and needle signifying their roots as an autoloom manufacture. And lastly the overlapping areas as described in your video

"RELEASE THE LIST." I'm dead.

Fun fact: Former German head of state Gerhard Schröder got the nickname "Audi man" because he got married 4 times (now 5 times), so he had 4 rings like the Audi logo.

17:36: The McLaren papaya color has a story. It was purposefully picked by Bruce McLaren because he wanted his cars to stand out more during a race on black and white TV. The papaya color had a noticeable specific tint to it when it was broadcasted over black and white TV. So it was a way for people to notice his cars more in an era of black and white newspapers and TV.

The Toyota logo contains all the letters of the word Toyota

There was no Dacia logo, James May is gonna be angry and so am I

Toyota was once a textile company before cars the symbol is supposed to be threading going through a needle.

The old Suzuki logo was awesome tf.

Next you should do "Every engine model explained". Like what does Hemi mean? What does Toyota's UZ stand for? What does Nissan's RB mean?

I always saw the McLaren 'Speed Mark' as an abstract Kiwi Bird as a reference to the founder, Bruce McLaren being from New Zealand

I think you missed VW intentionally.

The 2 main reasons Lamborghini choose a bull as logo for his company were: bull was his zodiac sign and a bull was a perfect logo for an agricultural tractor factory, which Lamborghini still is

The SAAB explanation was quite bad if you ask me, a Scanian.

TLDR:
SAAB already had a logo. Then they got together with the truck maker Scania and took their logo. When they later split and GM bought SAAB, they just kept the Scania logo. They never had any real affiliation to the region of Scania other than both being in Sweden.

SAAB doesn't have any real connections to the region of Scania and only used the Scanian griffin because the partnership they had with the truck manufacturer Scania, which was originally from the Scania region. They used the name, and symbol for Scania as their logo to represent the region (even after they left the region for Södertälje outside Stockholm in the 1920s).

SAAB originally used a front facing silhouette of an aeroplane as their logo as they originally built aeroplanes (and still do to this day). In the late 60s, they joined forces with Scania-Vabis AB to create SAAB-Scania AB. The logo they would come to use was a version of the Scania logo with SAAB on top and SCANIA on the bottom with 2 intercecting circles circling the griffin and one name each.

When SAAB got sold to GM in the 90s and split with Scania, they kept the logo only removing Scania from it. Still today both companies (SAAB still lives, just no cars) use a version of this logo with a blue circle a silver/gold ring and a griffin in the middle.

They started making the Opel Blitz in 1930. They used hundreds of thousands of these in the Blitzkrieg. And still sold them under the same name afterwards

1:09 the cable said ouch

25:35 idk if anyone is going to see this but here’s a cool fact about the porsche horse and the ferrari horse. The italian ace saw the stuttgart crest, said that’s sick and took it for himself. That’s right, porsches logo is derived from the thing that inspired the ace that inspired the ferrari logo. 2 legendary brands, 1 horse.

11:53 I always thought the Acura logo was literally just the Honda logo but the top was pinched together to make it an A 😅😅
