I use the skub boxes when I travel. Fold flat and slide into the side of my bag and they take up zero space. Then zip together at destination to hold makeup/toiletries and small items to keep your stuff together at hotel or space you are staying in. Keeps your stuff neat, organized and off the countertops.

I have 2 carts. I removed the wheels and used them as the pedestals for my desk. I have the bamboo desk top that I put across them. Glue dots keep it in place. Very unusual but it looks wonderful and airy, and has plenty of storage!

I noticed you encorporated a lot of encouragement to keep watching. I was in a weird mood while watching this; in fact I left the tab open and didn't finish watching it until a day or two later. But the reason I kept the tab open was because of that encouragement you sprinkled throughout the video. It still helped me keep watching today. I just wanted to let you know that at least for one person, it worked :).

I use the IKEA cart as a travel cart. I travel frequently and put all my travel essentials and add as necessary (ears for an upcoming Disney trip!). I just roll the cart into my bedroom from my guest room closet and pack up my suitcase with the things I need on the cart and add my clothes to the suitcase.

Those spice racks are great for storing craft ribbon. Perfect size, and you can grab the spool right off instead of trying to measure or removing a dowel.

I’m going to add a rail to my kitchen island. Thank you for the ideas!

This summer, we have an IKEA tiered cart serving as a mobile ice cream station - Ninja Creami on top, everything else we need down below.

Thank you for the Skubb roll down hack! I have those in my drawers but it’s not an Ikea dresser and the top drawers are shorter and the Skubb boxes are just slightly too tall and catch all the time.

Great ideas! That plate rack can also be used in the craft room to hold large, flat items like paper trimmers, score boards, stamp platforms, magnetic boards, etc. 😊

You could consider using the wooden plate holder for you hand towels rather than Skub box because it would be more stable and towels would be easier to get out - I think 😊

You definitely saved a good one for last! I liked how many different uses you found for the HULTARP rail, especially using it for the hanging art display. The whole video had some really clever ways of getting more use out of simple IKEA pieces. Great ideas!

My favorites are the spice shelf, multiple purpose and the last one, the rail. Wish I had an IKEA near me.

For Alberta watchers, AMA just announced they will be selling IKEA gift cards for 5% back in rewards dollars.

Love that you can use the small shelf either way. I need the dish organizer.

You are absolutely brilliant Christina! Love how your eye and mind work. Being able to see solutions to everyday life issues in items clearly designed for a different intended purpose is a true gift! Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us.

PS just wish we lived a little closer to an IKEA. We are just further enough away (from the closest store) that going makes for an entire day’s trek, with a possible hotel sleepover required sometimes, and no shipping available to our city.

I had not realized you were in Canada until I saw the paper napkins. Hello, from a Superstore shopper in Ontario! Hope you are staying cool. 😊
