Hello, David Harper here. You might know me from BBC TV Antiques shows like Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip. Well, this is my art, antiques and history channel!
Ask any questions you like, get in touch and suggest videos you’d like to see. Cheers, David

In this video, I take you to visit Yarnton Antiques in Oxford. We’ll meet some people as we walk around the centre and look as some great antiques and unusual, one off items…I’ll also buy a metal antique cat!

To get in touch with Yarnton Antique Centre, here’s their website: http://www.yarntonantiques.co.uk

Thanks for taking us through that treasure trove of fantastic items. That cat would look fabulous on a mantle or a large display table. I love it the way it is; the rust certainly adds to its appeal.

That cat will look the Business when he's finished, I just know it. 😊

Hi David , loved the video. The cat was great and the octopus. I do like these videos where you visit the antique stores and show us what is out there and obviously, your take and knowledge on the items is invaluable. There were some real bargains at this store . I’ll watch out for the cat restoration video . Keep up the good work .

I'm not keen on the octopus, David, but the cat is lovely. I look forward to seeing it in your garden.

Is that an IWC on the wrist David?

I am owned by a "mature" cat; she's 10. Far more expensive to house than yours! I literally grew up with African sculpture in the house; to me it looks old hat unless exceptionally well-done.
