Everytime I try to curl a wig the curl gets straighter!  I do have the right tools and temp :(

I have this wig in martini, I can't say how much I love it or how many compliments I get. I haven't treated it with heat and never ever have brushed it with anything other than the Jon renau comb. it still looks fantastic after 3 months of wear but I'm afraid to curl it and stuff like that.
