Smalls was held and questioned for roughly 12 hours after returning to the U.S. from Ciudad Juárez, where he had attended the Binational Summit for Peace and Justice. He tells DIRTY about being interrogated over his solidarity work and travel to Gaza and Cuba — and his experience with the border agents he describes as “idiots.”
