Thanks!... i've been doing all your videos so far on destiny. I've played it for several years and
I'm happy that you're enjoying yourself. In the game. I don't know if you play on steam or not. But. The autumn sale has a all the DLCs. Available for $50 bucks i want you to take this donation so that you can enjoy the game in its entirety. If at all possible, I would like to join you for the witch queen , the final shape and/or renegade campaign runs. But if not, it's all good. I know your community comes first. But thank you for making these videos, and please keep them coming. I'm really enjoying them.

Destiny 2 the collection is currently on a 81% off sale
The current free campaigns are Shadowkeep and Beyond Light (Dungeons, Raids & Exotics are not free
Monument of triumph is free to all players and was the final major update to the game prior to their retraction of end of service

At this point I lost count how many content creator I watch who plays destiny as a beginners, love to see it keep going guardians I love watching new players learning destiny

Destiny offers at least 70–100 hours of free gameplay, but it is so chaotically scattered across the game and its interfaces that I’m glad I bought all the DLC. Otherwise, I would have been completely confused trying to find it all.

The Campaign order for Destiny 2:
Shadowkeep
Beyond Light
Witch Queen
Lightfall
Final Shape
Edge of Fate

As an FYI, everything on the Timeline is a summary mission of the entire campaign and year that DLC released meant to catch you up without having to actually play the campaign. To do the first mission of the Witch Queen, you have to navigate to Savathun's Throne World on the right side of the Director. The only Timeline missions you cannot do are Year 1 content, Red War, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind, as they are not in the game. Also, if you watched the intro video right after character creation, you were already spoiled on some of the major elements, just depends on if you remember it or not.

Witch queen was the first campaign to have legendary difficulty. And it's worth doing on legendary because you get more cool gear per encounter. And that extra difficulty is fun.

Skipping from Beyond Light to Lightfall  (over possibly the best expansion in the game) is criminal LOL. That being said, playing Lightfall while having no idea of the broader context might be the best way to play that campaign - most people's complaints about Lightfall are about the narrative & pacing, but the gameplay is generally considered really good.

Pls keep playing destiny 2, Its so fun watching you play. Bty if you want the best gameplay do not play them in order, but if you like the story do them in order.

Dismantling destroys the item so you cant get it back but it gives you other things in return like glimmer (the little squares) or rarely drops enhancement cores. vaulting stores the items in a separate tab and preserves the item for further use or infusion.

Despite being called a “dodge” the ability isn’t really used much for dodging, the one that you have equipped is for reloading your weapon and when you start buildcrafting you’ll end up using it to trigger other stuff for your subclass. The witness is more of an “it” for lore reasons. Each planet and certain activities have their own weapons and armor to farm. Eventually you’ll unlock an item that lets you turn a piece of armor you like into an “ornament” so you can make other pieces of armor look like the one you like.

Hi. I’m a founder of Dads of Destiny and Dads of Marathon, the largest Bungie communities around.

Having played Destiny for over 12 years, we can help you with story and lore without spoiling anything, we’ve sherpa’d many a new light and let them learn at their own pace. Please let me know if you’d like some help in any way.

That "javelin" weapon you were using is called a Glaive. It's a new weapon type that was introduced in the Witch Queen expansion. Unlike swords, you use them in first person, and there are 3 things they can do: shoot projectiles, block, and melee. For the block, you have to hit enemies with the projectile to charge up the shield meter, although, they (very, very) slowly replenish the shield meter on their own over time. The Glaive melee's strength increases with your melee stat once you reach over 100 in that stat.

As for the stats themselves, the ones to primarily focus on (depending on your desired build) are: Melee, Grenade, Super, and Class. The Health and Weapon stats aren't really worth building into for the most part, but they still have some benefit.

For Armor customization, you can change the color of your armor pieces with Shaders, which are available from Eververse (the in-game store in the Director menu), Ada-1 (one of the vendors in the Tower; her inventory rotates weekly), Zavala, Lord Shaxx, the Drifter (All Tower vendors who have Shaders as Rank-Up rewards), the Rewards Pass, the Monument of Guardian Tenets, which are in the middle area of the Tower, and certain activities.

You can also customize your armor's appearance with items called Ornaments, which change the appearance of your armor to look like other pieces of armor in the game. The Star Wars themed armor and other armor sets you saw in the in-game store are all Ornaments you can customize your armor with. Ornaments can only be applied to Legendary (purple coded) and Exotic (Yellow/Gold coded) armor. Ada-1 has quests you  can do that reward items called Synthweave. You can use these items to turn any armor you've acquired into Ornaments (if it wasn't already an Ornament). In the Character menu, there's an Appearance Customization menu in the subscreen where you can see and apply your Shaders and Ornaments to your equipped armor.

Don't forget to pick up your subclass ability customization options from Ikora Rey in the Tower.

I like how he technically didn't even do the witch queen campaign mission. He did the timeline version

Well all dlcs combined now are less than 50€, so it's basically free

But why skip all the campaigns if you want to experience everything? In my opinion, you rob yourself of the suspense that way, and end up even more confused than at the start.
There is even a dedicated "timeline" overview where you can work through or experience the story chronologically.

Would be glad to help if your playing with fans!

wants a full experience but jumps campaign to campaign? why not just follow the timeline?

3:48 Rule Number One of being a Hunter. If your dodge isn't on cool down, it simply must be used

For the best possible experience, you'll want to do the Campaigns in order. Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, The Witch Queen, Lightfall, Final Shape, Edge of Fate and Renegades. You'll have to purchase that content but in my opinion it's worth it. You could however wait until the vaulted content is returned and free to play but that could take 10 months.

Look for the entire set of all expansions. It's cheaper that way. Also if you do buy them PLAY THEM IN ORDER. Doing it otherwise is is like continously punching  yourself in the nuts.
