The H-1b issue has been around for decades. I worked at an IT shop for years and they brought in numerous Indian H1b workers. Some were genuinely great workers.... but about half didn't know anything about our coding and just sat there. A lot of good people were laid off and these folks were hired.

I am a Microsoft certified professional and have been for more than 2 1/2 decades! I can tell you that about 2016 we stopped getting raises of any sort and over the last 5 years, wages are going DOWN, NOT UP! So as the world gets more expensive, inflation is raging and we must reskill every 2 years to keep up, we get paid less and less! What used to be a good career is nearly gone. And no, AI cannot do my job, in fact I use AI all the time to help increase productivity. So, those of us that are left, are doing more, for less!

Remember Parag Agarwal, the indian born CEO of twitter back in 2020 when they banned a sitting president. His response was he didn’t care about the US constitution. That there is the issue. They have zero knowledge, respect for the nation that made them multimillionaires. Love the American dollar but hate the laws of the nation.

Yeah, she's the CEO of Xbox, where Microsoft has been laying off thousands of American workers while continuing to hire H-1B visa holders. And now she's been appointed to the Federal Reserve's Productivity and Jobs Task Force, established under Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh, to advise on American jobs, and productivityI. You can't make this stuff up.

Microsoft is following laws that they lobbied into existence. They are absolutely to blame for this. The practice of lobbying needs to end as it only circumvents the voter with foreign interests.

A few things:

1. Let's not forget PBD was all about H-1B visas when the whole war on Twitter was happening -- he also hires H-1B visas and pays them poorly

2. This was supposed to be Trump's policy! And a suspension on just a few companies is a drop in the ocean compared to what needs to be done
