Not eating cocoa pops for breakfast IS actually groundbreaking news as a long time follower 😂

I am SO GLAD you are ok, Soph! My son had a massive stroke at 22, and is disabled from it. But, he's married with a family, and is able to work and enjoy life, thank goodness. He also learned to walk again, but cannot use his left arm. I'm thankful his personality came back and he's his lovely, amazing self!! I'm glad you took it seriously, because if it was a stroke, they can give you medication that helps so much with it, if it's within a certain number of hours.
I'm also very thankful you are talking about this, because my son did not think it was a stroke. Take care of yourself!! You are very loved!🥰❤

'I dont know if I mentioned I was obsessed with JLS' 10 mins before going through ALLL the JLS signed CDs 🤣🤣🤣

Your story reminds me so much of the first time I had an aural migraine. It was before mobile phones had voice command and I managed to use speed dial to call my best friend and she 3 way connected me to a nurse hotline and came to me and took me to the hospital.  17 years later and it never stops being scary every time it happens. Sending lots of positive thoughts.

Soph, I hope you are feeling much better now! I just realised how not aware we are of what women can go through. I experienced something last summer I thought I was literally dying, so I got to the hospital, they did some tests and ended up saying it was just an ovulation symptom. And nobody is talking that we can experience these symptoms, so I'm so grateful that you share this online so that many more people can get aware of this💙

I’m so glad you’re ok! I had an episode similar to this when I was about 18, I’ve always suffered with hormonal migraines but this was something new, my whole right side went numb and I couldn’t talk properly, the hospital suspected a stroke, till we realised I’d started a new mini pill recently and it had given me a migraine so bad that I got those symptoms. It sucks! And was so scary so I feel for you. X

As others have put, I’m getting migraine vibes too! I get migraine with aura but I also sometimes get numb arms/ my arms don’t feel like they belong to me and I struggle to get words out. My mum gets the aura but doesn’t get the headache anymore as she’s gotten older x

I suffer with hemiplegic migraines, I had ultimate stroke symptoms before my diagnosis, I suffer with it when we hit summer/change of weathers! Xxx

Glad you’re feeling better, when you were explaining your symptoms I was thinking this sounds like how my migraines start. It is very scary especially when you haven’t experienced it before.

OMG I am 14 months postpartum and I also can now feel when I ovulate and I get all the symptoms now. They are similar to the ones you get before your period starts! So glad someone else has had this experience!

Sorry to hear you had this scare Soph! Health things are always so terrifying. I get this type of migraine and they can be so scary. I’ve had an MRI on my head and they let me listen to music, I came in with a CD which they couldn’t use but they did get a YouTube video up instead so I could listen to the sound! When they asked what I wanted to listen to I panicked and just said some relaxing sounds so they played a calming playlist 😂

I’m so glad you are okay Soph ❤ I can imagine that was such a shock and stressful thing to have happened to you. My partner recently had really strange symptoms and originally they said they thought that was a mini stroke but in the end they ruled it out and said it was an epileptic blank seizure/ episode. It was his first one after 9 years of not having them 🥹💞sending you big hugs xx

I listened to music during my MRI of my head just a couple weeks ago. So glad you’re okay!

Also I’m so glad you weren’t driving when it happened 💕 hopefully it was just a migraine

What a scary experience!! So glad you’re doing okay! I have a chronic migraine condition and had to get a brain MRI. When getting me prepped for it, they asked what music I wanted them to play in the machine for me and I requested Taylor swift of course! I’m also a little claustrophobic so they covered my eyes with a washcloth so I wouldn’t have to see the little head cage, made it so much easier!! Hoping for the best ❤

I’m so sorry about your health scare!! I hope you’re feeling better now. Def sounds like a stroke or seizure, but panic attacks can present as that too. Hopefully you get some answers and/+} it doesn’t happen again. Also it’s absolutely insane that ambulances take hours to show up there?!

I am diagnosed with complex migraines and I have very similar symptoms to what you were saying! I hope you’re feeling better!

30:43 coffee/caffeine first thing in the morning can raise your cortisol levels. Your cortisol levels are always at their highest in the morning .

Sounds similar to my migraines. The not being able to say the words you’d like to, numb arm and tongue and problems seeing. The worst. Hope you get it all sorted out ❤

my fav way atm to sweeten porridge is to mash the banana first then put it in the oats + milk + microwave it rather than adding it after. it sweetens from the cooking and distributes better in the porridge so well that i havent needed to add any extra sugar/sweetener!! honestly love it so much now - might need to get that porridge bowl

also best of luck with your health stuff - i just had my first ever mri yesterday and whilst it was a bit unfamiliar, it was fine as someone who was a bit freaked out by the idea :) i get the results tmrw and am a little nervous but hoping to get closer to a diagnosis!
