There is good chance I was at this meeting. We attended plenty of them at Donnington in the early 1980's. I can hardly believe it is 40 years ago, where did a that time go?

Donnington has come a long way since then, that tarmac looks like the local council laid it on a Friday afternoon after lunch in the pub.

That V4 Honda! How I lusted after it when I was young. It sounds like all the V4’s of the era right through to the RC45. I ended up with a VF1000R 10 years later and the a RC30 several years after that.

Imagine the film of 2-stroke oil, that must settle on the track from the smoke.
