This teen plays economic like an experienced 30 years old player.
The right bal at the right time.
Not trying to hit the fanciest shot. Patience and waiting for the right time.

These two will be battling each other for years to come.

The strength of Mirra is the variety of her shots , witch often surprise the opponent , and Mirra is abble to act very quickly to the shots of her opponent

how adorable Mirra is

Is it just me or has Mirra added an extra dose of pace to her shots? If so, add that to her creativity, versatility, and movement, and she's a very dangerous player indeed.

Some people get carried away too quickly when a player suddenly wins a few matches, like Bartunkova or Shwalinska. This needs to be assessed over time. Mirra swept Bartunkova aside. Congratulations, Mirra!

Congrats to both rising young superstars of the women's tennis! Nikola Bartunkova defeated two Top 10 players in the world, made it to Semifinals of WTA 1000 Tournament for the first time, and also made it to Top 32 in the new WTA Rankings to be released om Monday, 12-Oct-2026! Mirra Andreeva made it to #3 in the WTA Rankings, to the 4th WTA 1000 Tournament Singles Final of her career, to the 5th WTA Tour Final of Year 2026, and besides, she joined the ranks of Caroline Wozniacki, Martina Hingis, Monica Seles, and Steffi Graf as a teenage player with 50 or more wins in a single season! For both of these amazing young ladies, the best is yet to come!

The match was far more error strewn on Bartunkova's part than these highlights show, but even so, a clinical performance from Andreeva. Looking forward to the final.
