Those M-4 would go straight through the Roman’s shields and armor like a hot knife through butter.

I feel like if the Romans actually saw the firepower of the vehicles and turret, they’d immediately retreat

It doesn't look to me like the infantry are actually shooting their guns,  all I see is them standing around letting the enemy run right into them and not reacting.

Soldier: Sir how many mags are we bringing?
Commander: Yes.

The C-Ram being used as a direct fire weapon is hilarious and what we all want in real life.

I highly doubt the roman swords would do much damage against armoured tanks 😂😂

2:05 It's like watching a horde of army ants strip a cow to the bone.

Bronze was Egypt, Hittites,Phoenicians, Persians and Greeks. Iron Age began a few hundred years before the rise of  the Roman Empire.

One thing a video like this does, is put into perspective just how large of a number 7 million really is.

The U.S. is mowing down several million and didn't even kill half of them. The number is just so huge.

And I'll also add that, while this was fascinating, it completely ignores air power.

If the U.S. brought in air support to aid all of these ground forces, the entire outcome would change.

Alternative title, millions of Romans zerg swarming 13000 us army who aren't allowed to move at all

If I had a tank like that, I may make us within the vehicle a bit dizzy, but we'd be making a lot of Roman hamburger, at least until the treads get gummed up by too many shields.  It's amazing what you Could do to Roman infantry without even having to fire a shot.  Modern Industrial Warfare is just on a whole different level, ala seen by the JDF in Gate.

You should do a video of all of human history against demons and have some space Marines as the future of humans.

In the first round, 13K romans killed for only 10 US soldiers?? If this was real, that would've been an absolute win.

Roman legions never attacked like that.

They would have progressed in shield wall formation, using their engineers for building, or trying to build, walls against the guns, then before charging, they would have also selected other points and techniques, floating bridges to traverse the river at lots of other points.

They would finally have considered the defended bridge as sn untakeable castle and tried to take it from other sides.

They were not that stupid running like orcs in the fire.

Not sure that they would have won, but if so, they would have tried to copy the arms and tactics of the defeated.

Likely also that they would have made a retreat and build a big big wall. For all being pissed seing few chances to win and no chances to have enough defeated soldiers to sell as slaves or to crucify for passing their nerves after the fight.

The remaining 535 Romans got the picture and realized they probably don't stand a chance.

27:25 the tanks backshoting each other😭💀

At 25:20
I was like "As long as the US doesn't lose their C-Rams they should be fine."
And then just a few seconds later, they lose their C-Rams....

This is a great channel! Thank you!

Not sure why archers with a max effective range of 300yds from a Roman bow, could pass the 500 yd line to get at the machine gunners, not to mention the amount of manpower needed to carry 10k catapults, assemble them on the field, while under Fite and then find stones big enough to serve as ammunition and gather them in quantities to provide the number of rounds used. Not to mention further that the absence of Apache helicopters, artillery, and air support. The tanks would stay mobile and cut into the flanks while weaving around to draw fire from the rear, plus they would focus fire the catapults first, then the archers, then run over swaths of tightly packed phalanx formations like those used in Roman warfare. Fun to watch but not a whole lot of true military tactics and sop was being observed, it just kind of became a free-for-all...rules of engagement also assign different priorities to different targets and the correct unit for the job would be sent. Why would any officer send his troops in front of a tank that could mow them down like wheat? Tanks would be in front and at each flank forming a small curve so that fire can be cross-triangulated.

"Knowing the average US soldier has a predetermined kill limit, I sent  wave after wave of my men until they shut down"-The Roman general probably.
