i'm pretty sure itto sleeping with his eyes open is not a headcannon. it's actual cannon. well kinda. itto's good night voiceline in his profile is "If you're tired, go ahead and call it a night. Hmm? Me? Oh, don't worry... I sleep with my eyes open... Haha... Literally."

For context for hiezou's birthday line, I'm pretty sure what it comes down to is him wanting to do an escape room with the traveler.

Actually, ei still created him. She hasn’t forgotten the nameless puppet she made. She has forgotten the kabukimono of tatarasuna, the kunikizushi who destroyed the raiden gokaden and the balladeer, scaramouche, no. 6 of the fatui harbingers, if she saw him shed most likely be like “why he look like my prototype lol”

Fun fact : I’m pretty sure itto sleeping with his eyes open is cannon

25:12 If you're wondering about the Heizou voice line, he wanted to take Lumine/Aether to an escape room. It was strange wording, but I still love my sussy detective boy
