FRIEZA vs MEGATRON Death Battle REACTION - https://youtu.be/wlVNJFMZmYY?si=RYtVgo-ddVOSzeet

By far, my favorite Death Battle ever. The analysis, the animation, the music! I have such a vivid lifelong attachment to both of these series that I don’t think this will ever be topped for me

I love how, through the entire animation, Bowser only moves forward, while Eggman is constantly retreating. Metal Sonic puts the Eggman Empire on his back and puts in a stellar performance, but Eggman constantly throws troops in with little regard for them, while Bowser steps up and defends his own army while leading the charge.  At the end of the day, his bond with his family (and a Grand Star) were the difference maker.

In Sonic's defense, his universe is somewhat reasonable compared to Mario's actual absurdity

Key point to remember. Metal Sonic beat Cell by his organic copying ability. And Kamek has a way to shut that off. It's not always about who is stronger, but who has the answer to each problem.

a little fun fact the animator behind this DB is also only made by 1 person much like the DB for Shadow vs Mewtwo. the animator for this one is named Moro. His animations go insane and i highly recommend reacting to his Indie Cross series if you're interested. it's essentially Avengers but it's indie game characters

In terms of comparing Bowser vs Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic vs Cell, it basically just comes to how the matchup of the latter was a 1 v 1 while this was a matchup of armies. Metal likely would have the highest kill count, but a character like Kamek has incredibly powerful support and disruption magic that can hinder Metal. This obviously isn’t the only possibility, but the combination of Bowser’s own magic and trump cards do make it a lot more difficult for Metal.

That battle was legendary!

Nobody tell him about SpongeBob Vs. Aquaman

If you go back and rewatch the battle, Dr. Robotnik was constantly retreating and hiding behind his minions, while Bowser did the exact opposite. He was always on the front lines and protecting his allies. The battle was too big for him to succeed more than occasionally, but he absolutely jumped in wherever he could. His allies also protected him, but usually only for a moment before Bowser jumped in the fray again.

One of the best death battles. Again as a massive fan of both series, had a good feeling bowser would win, and the reasons why make sense, as is explained in the video. Insane this animation was done by one person… amazing talent. Plus the fact it’s their whole army’s too, amazing. ❤

Why so many views? Because its BADASS!!! My favorite Death Battle!
One guy named Moro animated the battle in about a month I think and even made alternate scenarios!
When infinite appears Bowser didn’t attack him, instead he focused on using his magic to protect his troops!

He did it again when the death egg fired its laser! Jumping in front of it and raising his arms to block it from hitting his troops.

I hope you eventually watch Ash Ketchum vs Yugi Muto. That’s one of the most epic battles.

I still remember when this first dropped, the internet went CRAZY for months with fanarts, head cannons, shippings and so much more, it was a great time

Of the best of recent times and it was all made by a single animator because he wanted to see it.

And this one was another animation made by one person
Also this was definitely one of the top Death Battles before Shadow vs Mewtwo (rematch) happen. What’s up with the episodes being made by 1 person and being Absolute Cinema ?

Aside from Shadow vs Mewtwo, and Dante vs Clive (which I highly recommend) this is probably the closest fight they’ve done in recent memory. Sure the analysis kind of doesn’t paint it that way, but it was a back and forth for a long time. The animator, Moro, actually did work on Cell vs Metal Sonic, and you can see it especially when Cell walks out of the fire calling himself the ultimate life form. He’s also done Shigaraki from My Hero Academia agains Mahito of Jujutsu Kaisen and Miles Morales of Marvel vs Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia, so if you want to see more of his work with Death Battle, he’s got a couple more bangers. Also, one of the two singers for this episodes Track, Game Over, is the same guy who did Bury the Light from Devil May Cry 5! This little indie show has some surprising reach.

Finally, in regards to Cell vs Bowser, imma say it’s a closer fight than Cell vs Metal Sonic, only because Bowser is biological so Cell could absorb him. That said, I think the Koopa King’s got this, mostly due to being way stronger overall. But it’s still kinda close.

20:00 You know... in hindsight, maybe using the power of gravity magnification against a thwop wasn't Infinite's BRIGHTEST idea....

One thing I feel is commonly overlooked in this compared to the Cell VS Metal Sonic is the fact of Kamek being here. Kamek's magic can just passively stop other powerful magics and he's shown to be resistant in other games before to magic like time stopping effects. Things like Chaos Control or (as they did mention) Metal Sonic's Power Copying were completely shut off just by having him around. Granted, after Super Neo Metal slugged him over the horizon Team Rocket Style, he likely would've had those abilities back but he might've been just cocky enough to feel like they weren't needed at that point with him already in his super form, only to get caught off guard by Bowser's sheer power and the Grand Star burning out the rest of the time he had left.

Oh this is easily one of the better death battles
