From deep sand tracks to unforgettable coastal moments, this leg of our journey through Namaqua National Park delivered both challenge and reward.

We set out from Delwerskamp, tackling some seriously fun (and tricky) sand routes along the way. The terrain kept us on our toes, but that’s where the real adventure begins. Sonja started off cautiously—as anyone would in soft sand—but steadily built confidence and soon took on the tracks herself, gaining valuable off-road experience that made the day even more special.

One of the highlights was exploring the remote Spoegrivier Caves, a hidden gem that added a unique twist to the journey.

After exiting through the Park’s Northern gate, we pushed on towards Hondeklipbaai, arriving tired but fulfilled after a long day packed with new experiences. We set up camp before enjoying a well-earned rest.

But the adventure doesn’t stop here…

The next morning, we head North for the legendary Shipwreck Route near Koingnaas and things are about to get even more interesting.
