I just love love love your way of narrating and explaining everything. When I was done watching your past Manor Lords series I was trying to watch other creators but it just wasn't as good. I'm so Happy about this new series! Grüße von Deutschland, ich liebs einfach

I love this game. But I have to admit, I’m more the type who enjoys building beautiful, relaxing layouts than the competitive type—which is why I almost always turn off war or opponents and low difficulty . 😇😁

I can never get enough of you playing things. It is difficult to wait for more of the play through. :D

I hope soon the game will have an update with cavalry, siege units and castle; the game is good, i always wanted a realistic stronghold, but it can still improves

Perfect mix of aesthetic and functional building! Usually people go one way or the other but I really like where this is going 👍

I haven't played in a while but the peasant spearmen perform best in stand your ground stance. They outlast the raider's in prolonged combat and you take the minimum amount of casualties possible. Make sure they are not tired and on high ground if possible.

I wish there were more things to do with the lords side like castle/manor menagement, maybe marriege/aliances to another towns that are not controlled by me, or descendents and it somehow affects the pesants approval and consequently the whole city. That would be nice for non competitive players.

Regarding the hunting ground, unless they have changed it ( have not tried yet ) you can uncheck the box for protected area. Then you place the logging camp by the hunting ground, if I'm not wrong here then the hunting ground relocate and you get the space you need.

Hey Niv. if you want to optimize plot availability like you tried at 41:26, try aligning it to the world border. You can do this best with corpseplots in an L shape and close it off with roads. I tend to put them near my actual farmfields and they look supersexy there..

28:20 @Niv it's because in the first year you have a +1 family every month bonus, whatever approval you get. If you get over 50% in the first year you can get 2 families per month

Great video. FYI route is pronounced 'root' not 'rout'. A rout is what happens when an army flees a battlefield.

I love that the guy is walking a few villages over to sell a basket of firewood to a customer

@clearcutter74 4 weeks ago

"Of the Vogtland" would be a good perk for this town with the heavy focus on trade. Plus the berries and hunting grounds would both be improved. That extra 50% on minor trades is better than it sounds. Anything that normally exports for 1 coin gets doubled to 2 (because 1.5 coins gets rounded up to 2) and anything that's normally 3 coins exports for 5. That makes firewood equally profitable as charcoal.
