we can only dream...

While I wish it was the case the hard reality that Crossworlds firmly cemented Sega's trust in sticking to traditional racing games and being Mario Kart alternative.
But hey, at least you can play on hoverboards in Crossworlds which I couldn't believe was actually added. And at the very least Crossworlds is the best of Sonic car racing games compared to Team Sonic Racing and even Transformed

Damn, this is awesome as always, I also really like Riders, sometimes I like to play modded Riders 1 on my Wii with friends, such great times! And we've kinda got "Riders 4" as in CrossWorlds, SEGA even teased us before the release by showing extreme gear. But I'm hoping for actually fully truly real Riders 4 instead of some next kart racer. And I love how Sonic was experimental in the past, but you're right that knowing how Sonic was so near full cancelation, it's too risky for SEGA and Sonic Team to release something unusual right now, so we can only wait and wish for Riders comeback. Amazing video, btw! Keep up your great work, love your videos

Sonic Riders is my favorite of the spin-off games. I can only hope that we'll get a true return to the Riders series one day

honestly i dont think we will. Sega already be trying to cancel sonic as a franchise. I doubt a sonic riders is anywhere close to being in development. If we do get one, i feel like sonic will have to survive another 15 years.

Lol sonic does try to be cool. It even translates to his "kart" games. Even with sonic drift. (which is honestly more of a power drift clone, fittingly). He uses a cool sports car instead of a kart. Even in the new games lol. High powered cars instead of karts
