I seriously love your videos!!! Youre freakin hilarious and say what I'm usually thinking. lol

Thank you

I love, love, love the V&A items. I hope I am able to order them!

I watched this while I cooked dinner, and you made my partner and me lol with your "fuck no" comment 😆 (also, I agree... it's so much money for tiny samples!). I have to agree with you about the Mother series - I'm always drawn to the covers, but I've never played the game and have no emotional attachment to it, so I don't end up going for them.

I really enjoyed your video! You crack me up! 😂

I will be getting the bunnies weeks with Unforgettable Moments written on the side and I am going to use it for exactly that, unforgettable moments each day :)  Also the pencil board that matches with the sleeping bunny, I am not a bunny person, I am dog person, but these are calling me more so than anything usually does.

I ordered from Yoseka last night, just one Weeks. I’ll also get the One Piece Weeks when it comes out. I wasn’t thrilled with this year’s designs either. The year that they had the Dog cover that was a like knit material and pink and lime green, that was amazing. I did end up getting that one thankfully (shout out to my sister for the early birthday gifting). The Starlight cover was great until I zoomed in 😢 I think the only other Weeks cover that I liked that was an actual design was the fishing in the sea of blue or whatever one. That one sold out very quickly. I got the Lavender Milk one, which I’m going to use to journal and track my special interests and media consumption. I started doing that in my JustScribble B6 recently and I like it, but I don’t think I need daily pages for that. So the weekly is great.

Oh... My gosh... 😂 This is the first video of yours I've seen and you are so hilarious about this 😆. I've watched so many of these "planning for hobonichi" videos but this one is so real and reminds me a lot of my thought process 😆
Enjoy your different systems though!

While I agree with maybe half of your takes, you’re a hoot 😉 I wish that the Puppet SunSun collab was Japan only rather than Hello Kitty, but what do I know 😎 Happy Hobonichi Szn 📚

They need to produce more of these when they know people want to buy them. This just gives the customers a big negative about  Hobonichi!

I cannot get over how much the beautful people covers are. They are just plastic, right? 😂

I only ordered the five-year diary. I missed it for this year and have still been thinking about it so I bit the bullet and paid the incredible shipping and got one.😊

V&A Hon A5 ordered. Locally, because the official store kept crashing on checkout because whatever is handling their payment system 422d due to being overloaded and after ten minutes I wanted to go back to sleep. No acorn for me, secretly still hoping for a pen though.

Yes to the cash grab vibes on that ink! Went from cute tiny bottles to hell no as soon as I saw the price.

I too am underwhelmed by the Hobonichi offerings this year. I've been using a Sterling Ink N2 planner as my everyday carry and am really enjoying it, so I think I will be ordering one for next year. For my journal -- I decided on a Hemlock and Oak A5 daily as opposed to the Cousin because I have been really struggling with the weekly layouts in the Cousin this year.

I honestly was having a hard time finding something I actually liked out of this year's collection as well. That being said, I bought the A5 V&A cover, and the matching botanical looking weeks, as well as A5 Avecs. But everything else didn't strike my fancy. I feel like the prices totally jumped up compared to last year's collection, and I found it hard to justify spending several hundred dollars on ONE cover. I never remember seeing covers costing that much.... I used a Sterling Ink N1 last year to substitute my Hobonichi Weeks, but the paper quality was lacking so badly with my fountain pen, and I just missed the different tomoe river paper- But I agree with you on the designs this year. I genuinely wasn't really feeling it this year either, and I usually was watching the launch stuff actively, too. But it just wasn't hitting to be honest. I'm so looking forward to your drop of handmade covers on your Etsy, whenever that is. <3

I thought the pens last year were expensive. They said “hold my beer” with those inks!!!

I'm team 'I'm waiting and probably not buying anyway' because there's still 4 months to January. On top of that, Wonderland222 released their colors and I'm digging them far more than any of the Hobonichis this year.

Since 2016, this will be the first that I will not be purchasing anything during the launch.  I have my black A6 English collection since 2016 so I will keep that going but I can wait to buy later.  I'm so sad about it but not....lol.

Girl, you can make an olive cover 10 times cooler than that!! And I bought a kinbor weeks it came in and I was shocked by the quality!

Yea... I'm skipping Hobonichi this year. (shooting to skip the next 4 years till I need another 5-year) Thank goodness NOTHING appeals to me this year. I did buy the pen set last year, gag... for what $68?? But plan to use in my 5-year planner and get some damn use out of them. I bought the A6 plaid cover with the flowers on it, LOVE that cover. Will definitely use it down the road.
The tariffs pissed me off last year. I went with a Commit 30, will miss the hobonichi paper but oh well. Then I snagged a mid-year Passion Planner with the Koi cover on sale a couple weeks ago, LOVE that cover! So bought the date sticker set and will use it in 2028.  Kelly, you're not the only one, I laughed at the fountain pen ink. What are they thinking?
