Five members of a family were found dead in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, in a case that shocked the community and is now being investigated by the Nuevo León Attorney General's Office.

On the morning of September 30, 2026, authorities found a red Jeep Rubicon with Cinthia Abigail Tamez Rivera and her youngest son, Gustavo, inside. A few hundred meters away, in a house in the Los Nogales neighborhood, the bodies of Leodegario Moya Garza, Cinthia's partner, and her two other sons, Bruno and Cristian, were found.

The Attorney General's Office's main line of investigation suggests that Cinthia shot her partner and her three sons before taking her own life. Investigators are analyzing ballistic evidence, the weapon found, and other elements to reconstruct exactly what happened during the early morning hours.

But more questions surround that night: a family gathering, RZR vehicles, alcohol consumption, a couple's argument, and social media posts that began circulating after the tragedy.

In this TuBarco video, we reconstruct step by step what happened in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, learn the identities of the victims, and review what the authorities have established so far about this dramatic case.
