The icing on the cake for this scene was the second he said “don’t forget about my daughter” the wife knew right then and there they were ALL dying right there

He wanted him to feel the same pain he did before he died.

Where no mercy is given, none should be expected.

People have to think about the fact that those other family members could have exacted their own revenge had they lived.

I think its interesting that no one catches on that Alexandro's going to kill everybody from him saying, " Every night you have families killed, yet here you dine. Tonight should be no different!"

“The most dangerous man is the one with nothing to lose”

That Alejandro Kills the Wife/Mother FIRST is a small Mercy.  She understood English, and was spared witnessing the deaths of her children.
Fausto, he experienced ALL OF IT.

he fufilled his final request, he didnt kill him in front of the kids

The wife absolutely knew what was going on, I mean you live in a house like that? With armed guards? You know what your husband is doing. She might not take part, but she knows.

The icing on the cake was he said "Time to meet god" in spanish, they all knew what was coming

The fact that people were surprised is what surprises me.

I've noticed that the first shot at the boss you can hear him choke afterwards. It was not a killing one on purpose.

For those who say the children were innocent, yes, they were... just as innocent as Alejandro's wife and daughter. The only difference is that what Alejandro did was shown in the film, while what the man in front of him did was not.

That man murdered his own family at the very moment he ordered the murder of Alejandro's, only he didn't know it yet.

Ash picking out that the wife viscerally reacted and knew that moment Alejandro reminded him not to forget about his daughter. They were all already dead. Was a hell of a catch

He really honored his last wish. “Not in front of my boys.”

What's absurd about the cartel boss saying that it wasn't personal, in relation to what happened with his daughter, is that she wasn't killed in some random drive-by or a stray bullet through the window. They dissolved the little girl IN ACID! That's pretty freakin personal.

Keep in mind they threw his wife and daughter in an acid tub. That creep got off easy.

Compared to what he had done to Alejandros' wife and especially daughter, who was put into a barrel of acid while still alive, he killed them mercifully with just one bullet when he could hav done anything he wanted to get his revenge. Anyone who doesn't at least understand this scene, which doesn't mean agreeing with killing kids but the wife knew what was going on the whole time and had no problem living the good life off the death of others including children so she got what she deserved, and understand why he felt the way he did doesn't undestand at all how it would feel to be Alejandro. He was a good man doing what was right and they killed his family because of it, I don't know exactly how it would feel either but I understand how he became the kind of person who would do what he does in this scene.

He ended that particular potential cycle of violence.
