The barbershop being Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall as every main character is hilarious to me.

The two homeless men are the stars of Eddie Murphy's classic TRADING PLACES -- which you need to watch next!

Eddie Murphy was amazing in this movie especially when he played multiple characters in this movie

Did you ladies watch all the end credits to see all the many characters that Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall played? That’s the icing on the cake.

You need to watch the end credits more. They played multiple roles with some amazing makeup. The end credit scene with the elderly Jewish man was Eddie Murphy.
“Aah Haaa!!” 😂

@ 38:02.  Hella: “What does he mean ‘We’re back’?”
You have to see a previous Eddie Murphy movie, ‘Trading Places’.

James Earl Jones is the actor who played Akeem’s father.  He was born in Mississippi, but grew up in Northern Michigan.  As a kid, he had a bad stutter, until his high school English teacher helped him overcome his stutter.

I was surprised by the reaction of these girls. although they still struggle with the language, a little, they understood most of the cultural humor.
a great reaction to a fun movie!

This was the first movie I rented back in the days of VCR's.❤❤❤

25:01 Hella recognizes that the barber is also Eddie Murphy.  "Is that him?" 🥸
Katie, "No, it's not him."  😨

Hella was right!

This is a classic from my childhood 😂

When the two homeless guys said "We're back" that was a reference to their roles in the movie "Trading Places" which they costarred in with Eddie Murphy.  I think you would enjoy that movie too

Ladies, check out the movie "Trading Places" with Eddie murphy. It has a connection to this movie.

0:34 Yes, keep it real. That's why I come back.

The two old homeless men are from Trading Places with Eddie Murphy.

in case you didn't notice Eddy Murphy played multiple roles in this movie

It is, in fact. The two lead actors playing every single man in the barber shop. Even the old white jewish guy lol

“What do they mean..We’re back?!”

44:50 Tears of laughter from Hella and Katie at a photo of Prince Akeem in the museum.
I don't know if I've ever seen them laugh so hard.

Rest in peace Jane Earl Jones: King of Zamunda, the voice of Darth Vader and MUFASA
