I donated and threw away 90% of my belongings and I'm so happy. I literally have nothing but an empty house and car and I'm so glad. It took me 5 years. 2020-2026.

My husband is a hoarder and its so difficult to convince him we don't need all this stuff. He's older and keeps buying things for "projects", but never does them.

Been decluttering closets. One was so overstuffed at the bottom, it is taking awhile. Less to manage is the goal.

My sister was a minimalist. It was a joy spending time with her. No fuss, no muss. She always used to say it was tiring to come and see me as there was always 'so much to do.'

The do it right away rule is lifechanging becuase there are so many tasks you think take a lot longer than they do. Resetting the kitchen at night is a game changer. You think it'll take 30 minutes....it takes about 10.

I started ruthlessly decluttering when my kids were 4 and 8. I wish I'd known about minimalism sooner but hindsight is 20/20. I always enjoy your videos. I hope my kids bring the lessons into adulthood too. 😊❤

I needed to be reminded, that I don't have to keep things given to me. My friend bought baking chips on clearance at the store and thought I could use 8 bags. These were weird cream cheese flavor, peanut butter flavor, and some other kind that expired 2 months ago. I threw it all away. I make cookies, but only use semisweet chocolate chips. They are good enough and don't take up much space. I have been successfully making chocolate chip cookies for 60 years and don't intend to change. I like to keep it simple. Thank you for the reminder Joshua.

I donated a sleeping bag to the thrift store. It was in the morning and I told the gentleman it was clean because I am a perfectionist. I asked if there was a homeless person he could give to. And he said yah they stop by.

My mother was in a rehab healing up an before I brought her home . My neighbor came over an helped me clean an organize her set up for this time of her needs .
We got rid of everything not needed 1 coffee cup on her mini frig instead of 3 an the list went on . Now walking in is so freeing an enjoyable
You really are calm an clutter free an it has changed everything at that end of the house... Working now all the way through
