This is just a belated love story with an OP mc that crushes all doubts about him in a calm and composed manner. That aspects good, however it’s just that. It’s just a belated love story that is getting constantly interrupted by the cheating ex and the playboy rich heir that stole the ex. There is hardly a 10 minute period in this film that doesn’t somehow involve the ex, or the Jiang heir which makes it very annoying to watch. Watching this feels like the other girls on the show, like an extra on a set or just background noise which makes it not entertaining. The love story is good, but I think the story could’ve been written differently to focus more on the chemistry than the gold digger ex or the scumbag heir. Sure a little would be fine, but it’s throughout the entire film which isn’t enjoyable to watch.
