Don't forget to check out our reaction to the first Hot Shots! movie if you haven't yet! https://youtu.be/z6tIA2TmN7Y

In the riverboat scene where Charlie Sheen runs across Martin Sheen, both are repeating voice overs from their respective Vietnam era movies: Charlie repeating lines from Platoon (1986) and Martin from Apocalypse Now (1979). Martin Sheen cameo here is AWESOME. “I loved you in Wall Street!” (both appear in this latest film).

These men have taken a supreme vow of celibacy. Like their fathers and grandfathers before them.

I love that the entire Topper/Ramada storyline is Casablanca.

"War: It's fan-tastic!"

The bloodiest movie of all time!😂😂

Lloyd picked the wrong day to quit sniffin glue.

when i was a kid i had this movie on a vhs with surf ninjas. i always watched them back to back haha

The river boat inspection and the eventual gun fight was mostly parodied on the famous scene from the classic WW2 film starring Gregory Peck, "The Guns of Navarone".

Most people don't know Alex Mack. I'm pleasantly surprised to hear you reference her.

The two funniest lines in this movie to me are the two shortest words: “Go on.” 🤣 (when the two women are recounting their steamy night together)

The stuff with the President scuba diving is a reference t the actors past.

From 1958-1961 Lloyd Bridges.starred in a TV Show Sea Hunt about a retired navy Frogman(Underwater Demolition.teams, the predessecors of the Navy Seals). During the diving scenes Bridges did a voice over just like in this film.

"Silence of the Hams"
Spoof movie of the genre, with "Silence of the Lambs" & "Psycho" being the main framework for the script. It stars Billy Zane as FBI agent Joe D. Foster (yes, it's very silly. Too silly IMHO) Dom Deluise plays Doctor Hannibal. There are lots of B actor cameos from the 70's and 80's and cameos from horror directors like John Carpenter and John Landis!

For me, the chicken part, is mocking a scene in the movie they're spoofing, when Rambo looks around and plans to make an explosive trap with some barrels.
The camera zooms into them, but it's not clear at all. At the point that many of us, at first, thought that he was looking at the chicken who is in the same shot as the barrels.
Guessing: "what does he want to do, with the chicken?"

The word play is off the charts in this one... There are things that just whistle on by in the first watching. Like when they are fetching Topper from the village in the early going... And Topper tells them "these men have taken the sacred vow of celibacy like their fathers and their fathers before them"... Now, how did that work??? And there is something going on in the background on so many scenes.

"Big shoes to fill"
Don't worry, Ryan Stiles is here

not a spoof per se but I recommend "Down Periscope!"

The raining letter scene at the train was from Casablanca also

14:13 the moment I was waiting for 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Vanessa looses it again 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Underrated but great are Black Dynamite and Loaded Weapons 🙌 you might like em as well
