About This Story :
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran speak to Barkha Dutt, alongside director Meghna Gulzar, about Daayra, a film that puts two police officers with radically different ideas of justice on a collision course.
In a freewheeling conversation, they discuss playing police officers, the grey areas between right and wrong, and how they explain morality to their children in an increasingly polarised world. They also open up about roles they regret taking, why a woman’s lens matters in cinema, and whether there really is a North-South divide in the way films are made, watched and understood.
Daayra explores what happens when two officers, two ethical codes and two ideas of justice collide.

Even interesting is the so so articulate Prthvi.
Cause Dayraa is one of my earlier movies - directed by Amol Palekar and interestingly Gulzar ji has written the lyrics..
Dayraa- the square circle it was called.
I get it when the story demands it but without any context ??
