Those flat wooden lockboxes always have a random crafting book inside.

I fuckin adore this game and more to the point, Pearl Abyss! I’m a forty five year old gamer and I have never experienced a AAA studio/publisher deliver a game on this scale and handle the game pay launch like Pearl Abyss has done with Crimson Desert!
In a world full and ran by corporate greed Pearl Abyss is such a breath of fresh air. This should be the standard and my only complaint is the narrative and characters but I have faith that when that narrative update hits that people will see this game in a whole new light!

Five years of recorded dialogue and more and with how creative and honest they have been, I believe they will deliver the game that they all had envisioned. As an artist I wouldn’t usually be excited about a “re edit” of a narrative or characters but again this studio is so talented and seemingly doing the damn thang their way and again the narrative update has me excited but I’m also hyped for the first DLC expansion and I’m so hoping for a pirate themed expansion with ships, crews, navel combat and maybe an archipelago to explore!

Again their openness and honesty is really surprising because I have never seen a AAA gaming company handle themselves quite like how they have and kudos to their leaders because they are not only taking care of the employees but also the investors with great stock options Theyve made hand over fist but again greed doesn’t seem to be their main motivating factor and quite frankly bigger companies such as Sony, Rock Star/Take-Two, EA and Ubisoft could all take a few pages outta Pearl Abyss’s playbook!

I hope other studios take note and start developing open world games like this and handle post launch updates/content like this. I can only imagine how a Days Gone 2 could’ve worked if handled the way Crimson Desert has been.

I’m so mad because I didn’t realize some of those boxes you collect and have in your inventory can be opened to reveal some treasures inside

Cheers for this, at first look im only missing the one from the tree ...ill check it out later, thanks again

I dunno how I missed that Hideout with Olvald's Axe manual. I've been in that area bunches of times, lol.
