Hi Ben, nose like a bloodhound finding that little beauty. I can assure you that even though its a considerable investment it will continue to gain value over the years to come.
Its not only a very rare one to find of any age its also  in incredible condition. An iconic find that will have all serious Stanley collectors in awe.

Can't believe you've got your mitts on a SECOND Number 1. Awesome (if expensive) item! Car boots are starting at the weekend, I shall have my eye's peeled for similar! Thanks for sharing, All the best!

Phwoar! A beauty. Thanks for the video Ben!

Beautiful planes, all of em. Thanks for sharing those! Very cool.

What a remarkable find and could not be in better hands. What a fantastic rear set. All  of them are just lovely.

Unfortunately never seen one at the flea market would be nice for collecting or displaying on a shelf that's about it but I do have a Lie Nielsen no. 2 bronze it's a beautiful little plane small enough and I think more valuable than the old stanley no.1.

Can't be too many men on the planet with two number 1s.

That stamping mistake on the iron probably makes it even more rare and collectable! Super cool! Glad it found a good home

Hi Ben! Congratulations!  What a beauty.  I am so glad YOU got it...  Awesome stuff....

Can't wait to see how you display this jewel!
