A much-awaited daughter, who arrived two years after the death of her sister: that is Eliene. At age 11, she moved with her family to São Paulo. She married at 17 to a man 23 years her senior, with whom she had three children, a relationship unfortunately marked by significant domestic violence. In 2013, at age 36, she disappeared the day before a court hearing where she was to report all the abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-partner. A devoted mother, her youngest child was only three years old. After leaving the church, she was never seen again.
