Karin Miyamoto | Singer/Artist
Inspired by ℃-ute, who sang the ending theme "Ookina Ai de Motenashite" for the anime "Kirarin☆Revolution," she auditioned for Hello! Project Egg. She passed the audition in November 2008 and joined at the age of 9.
On February 3, 2013, she was selected as a member of the new Hello! Project trainee unit "Juice=Juice."
On September 11 of the same year, she debuted with the triple A-side single "Romance no Tochuu/Watashi ga Iu Mae ni Dakishimenakya ne/Samidare Bijin ga Samidareru." In November, she won the New Artist Award at the 55th "Shining! Japan Record Awards."
In 2019, she held her first solo live tour, "Karin Miyamoto LIVE TOUR ～Karing～."
This was the first time a current Hello! Project member held a solo live tour while still belonging to a group.
On December 10, 2020, Karin Miyamoto graduated from Juice=Juice and Hello! Project after approximately eight years at the "Juice=Juice Concert 2020 ~Continuing STORY~ Karin Miyamoto Graduation Special" held at the Nippon Budokan. Since then, she has been active as a singer.
