The singer is the best find. ❤

I think the sewing machine is the winner. Especially because you are a sewer and can appreciate its value and usefulness!

As a German, it’s funny to see the weird feelings people have about the eagle symbol. There’s so much more n*zi symbols to be concerned about. If I’m not mistaken, we even had pretty much the same eagle symbol on our money (5 Mark coins, maybe even on the bank notes) up until 2002 when the Euro was introduced.

As an old seamstress, that WHITE old Singer had me absolutely salivating. What a treasure.

I think the chisel set is really cool, because it shows that we as humans have been accidentally leaving our tools behind in sneaky hiding spots throughout the generations. As an ADHD-er I find comfort in this and I hope people find my left behind objects with as much wonder and joy as y’all have.

Edit to add that the sewing machine find is truly an amazing gift!

I see homeowners of the past "stored" small tools at the previous project location... Wonder how long they searched before giving up and replacing them...

Fun video! Of course my favorite is the Feather Weight! What an incredible find!

How can one choose? I would chose the singer featherweight, as the most personalized gift form your house to you 🥰Love the little metal cement truck ❤ it reminds me of the cars and trucks I would find in my grandma’s back yard. Love the old stone masonry tools as best historical building tools for your house. I love the layers of history and all the stories each piece you have found suggests

When redoing my bath, they found shotgun shells that fell in the ductwork for the ceiling fan. He said that was a first for him. He's found toys and other stuff before.

The sewing machine was pretty cool. I think the miners light takes the cake.

Marbles. Thats my thing. I display mine on Flower Frogs. I have many kinds of flower frogs. Some just plain clear glass, but also some colored glass that is opalescence, large, small and some with small holes and some with large holes. So great a showing off marbles of all sizes.

The monopoly card is what our monopoly game came with in the mid 1960s. Not sure how much earlier or later it was being used though. The middle bottle may be a pickle jar, that us, if you lived in England. I watch a lot of mudlarks.

I have basically the exact same mallet/hammer thing. It was passed down to me from my grandfather who made it himself. He died in 1981...

Some kid was driving the tradesmen nuts when they were installing the heating system.

The sewing machine . I learned to sew 6 years old . What a treasure to find

Shannon, you are such a good person, you and Phil both and of course Canel❣️❣️❣️ but I love how you handled the responses to do with the certificate and how you explain things and considered everybody’s feelings and I think your solution is perfect. It is very cool though thanks for another fabulous video. I look forward to seeing the three of you more than you’ll ever know.

As a quilter, I think the sewing machine is the best treasure ever.

“It came from under the floor” - cracks me up as it could be a B horror film title. Thanks for sharing

The chance card looks like the art style I grew up with! I was born in 83 but it might have been my parent's game, so maybe older than me.

I found a vintage listing of replacement cards on ebay of this art style and its description claims 1985
