The fellas had me at Highway Tune. This is the first group that has me completely. Meet the Master is my ringtone. I didn't care for the RCA studio version of that song, but there were several others that I fell for more than the original, Sacred the Thread and Heat Above especially.

My husband asked why they don't get much radio play. I told him they flat out don't need it. They're not meant for the masses, but those that appreciate the amazing talents they share with their fans.

I love how unique every song is. Yet, they compliment and build upon each other.

Fleet Dreams! ❤

I love this album…really from start to finish. It’s meant to be played in order. Love it.

Amazing reaction, amazing album

This is such a wonderful album.  It hurts me when it ends 😂 because it's too good. Honestly it's crazy good. Also great reaction.  I'm happy you loved it as I did❤❤❤

Thank you for this reaction!

cant wait to see them next year - 2nd June Glasgow ❤❤

26:00 very Geddy Lee bass tone and playing

The first half had me worried just because it’s not my type of music but from Touch Again on I was in full jam mode!  The bass and percussion forward is fantastic!

I used go to zehnders snow fest in frankenmuth every year just because these guys played at a little venue there. They were like 14 yrs old but they sounded amazing even then. One year they werent performing and next thing you know they were blowing up. So cool to see

Agree with you! GVF has definitively found their sound! ❤ You mention the intro. Jake's band Mirador has a beautiful accoustic guitar intro on their self titled album. It's called Hymnal 1. Beautiful!

OMG, I love everything about this album. Thanks for sharing. Recently discovered GVF. I must have been living under a rock. Reminiscent of the music from my teenage years but better. I can't get enough.

Every album has that song that’s meant to be short and sweet just for the mainstream and for Radio playing, When the curtain falls, Safari song, in this album it’s play your games…

What a great video and reaction!! Love your energy. I immediately listened to the whole album before work in the morning, and now had to consume every content related to it. My favourites always change with more listening, but my first listen favourites were definitely boughten bliss and lost in the golden!!

Goddamn it was amazing, its truly the best gift they could've given us now. into the beginning is the only album opener track i would seek, highlights are dannys drums on Heya as well as the song itself, lost in the Golden bar none, jamming along with touch again, the insane mix that is heart and the beat, all four at their apex, wasn't expecting to tear up when i got to hear what boughten bliss was-completey different than what I'd thought, the solo and beat from tear i down

I actually loved Starcatcher because I got to bring my then 10 year old grandson to his very first concert  He’s a huge fan  THIS album? There’s no comparison I can’t wait to get my autographed CD.
Thank you so much for sharing it here
It’s so much more intricate than anything Greta has done thus far
I’ll be doing quite a bit of driving in the next few days Can’t wait to have my favorite ever band keeping me company with their best music EVER
Young men of GRETA have totally outdone themselves
I’m going to be moving to another State soon The fact that I’ll have their newest and insanely superb album with me? Is more than I could’ve expected
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Just finished my 1st play through.
Really enjoyed it.
I won’t lie that I do miss some of that really big, rock anthem like Greta songs like Heat Above, Age of Man, Stardust Chords etc. this album doesn’t go in that direction. But I don’t hate it. Plenty to love here.
Boughten Bliss is already a very special song for me
Born for this is a great one. Recons to more of that classic Anthem era of Greta.
Lost in the Golden is a really groovy song
Solid 8/10 for my 1st experience. It’s also midnight where I’m at so I’m wondering if I’m tired and couldn’t absorb a lot of the nuances…

EDIT: adding my two cents on albums in order as of now
1) Battle at Garden’s Gate (peak. Beginning to end. It’s a masterpiece)
2) Anthem of the Peacful army (vintage Greta. I became a fan right when this album came out)
3) Palace For the People ( chillest album. But it’s got a strong though line. And I think there is a lot going on in each song that’ll it will continue to grow on me more and more. Very unique and colorful)
4) From the Fires (this is where it all started. It’s epic in all the right ways. However, I don’t think Greta really knew who they were yet. So they leaned heavily into one specific style; which I have no problem with, but I think that’s where BAGG shines. They really started to break the mold)
5) Starcatcher. ( overly produced. I do love a few songs. And I will say that these songs live really kick ass. Remove all of those postproduction effects, and all of the sudden you got some hits. Indigo Streak and Sacred the Thread are ones I’ve grown quite fond of. Even the studio versions lol)

Anyway great video. Enjoy your reactions. We have very similar tastes. Been a subscriber since Vader ep2! Keep it going bro

Boughton bliss has me balling everytime very moving bravo gvf beautifully produced and his voice is ridiculous

Phenomenal album man

No entiendiendo nada, pero saludos desde Argentina!! Greta Van Fleet es una hermosa banda.

Where's Sam's piano?? (halfway point.)
