Hey guys! this is a quick vid of the installation and initial run process of converting your twin carb virago to a single carb setup.

Hallo-do you still run that bike?
where there any difficulties coming up with the rear cylinder?
I think about tuning up my 1981 50hp . Where do i find the fork parts with that double brake system?
In Germany there is TÜV check to make with all the paperwork that says : all parts need roadworthy application for exactly that modell....
or EU certificates....

Did you know there was a reason why Yamaha went with two carbs instead of one? Both carbs are jetted differently, there is a reason for that, look it up in the Factory Manual.

Did you block off the the vacuum line at the petcock? Or just leave it... Im just about to do same thing on my 98

Gidday Matt, I've an 1100 stock with Jama Engineering pipes made in Holland sold by Laser Custom Exhaust Systems....similar to Cobras. Id like to do the conversion like yours thru Mikuni, maybe even drop the fuel pump and reserve tank and install a fuel tap to gravity feed the carb. What single carb would you suggest, same as the 750 of your bike or larger cfm?

Hi i have a yamaha japanese import "srv 250 soulfull twin" and would really apreciate tips for changing my carbs, throttle cable is twin, push pull ? and what is the square box mounted just under the tank, also why do i have three pipes coming from the petcock ? any help , greatly appreciated, live in eastbourne ! thanks for reading

I am converting my 1993 1100 Virago to a single Mikunioz carb.
The info from Maikunioz is that if running a fuel pump, the carb might overflow.
I was going to go gravity feed fuel to the single carb.
How do you run your Virago fuel line to the carb?

Hey, i would love to ride a Single carb on my virago! I red in the comments that you had issues with this setup.

Do you know...if the same parts are run´s by a XV 1100 (Bj.1998)??
I `ll plan to change the Carb´s from dobble Carb( orig.) to a single Carb´s with parts...her in fuc...ing Germany :-))

I dont know whats the problem on mine I just installed it and when giving slightest of throttle it stalls and backfires into to the carb. it feels like the pilot would be glogged but it isnt. I guess I have to check that the carb gets enough gas from the tank. maeby float is off somehow?
