Just want to offer a few unsolicited tips: (1) ram your sand on the side of the mold with the inner lip first so that you do not need to scrape sand out of the channel at the parting line, (2) use a flour sifter to put a very fine face coat of sand on your pattern before packing the rest of the sand to improve surface finish, (3) place the pattern down first and pack/ram sand on top of it instead of pressing the pattern into the sand - if you have trouble pulling it out, add a 2 degree taper to the vertical sides, and (4) ram the sand as you pack it and not once the half mold is full of sand. These tips will all help you get a better surface and reduce the amount of sanding/grinding you need to do post cast! Good luck!

please don't stop making these :")

You got a video about making that bracelet?

Hermoso anillo

Dude, you make some amazing art! I've been wanting to get into creating cool things with silver, I'm hoping silver might come back down.

Keep Making more videos!! This is dope!!  I wanna try this!!

Just those few beads are enough to hold in the stones? Very cool ring. Where do we get the resin ring? Or did you make it?

where do we get the sand, I order some and it too fine and don't bond ?

So what's the "CHEAT CODE"?

Is the ring mold made out of resin or wax?

Super cool. Did you leave the indents around the stones after setting them?

Are you using flux in your crucible before you start melting or do you just go straight to melting?

How did you make the sized masters from which you cast? Are they 3D printed?
