Being spiritually awake is like simply resting.
Because there is no separation, then there is no one to be abandoned by, and nothing to fear.
Fear of the afterlife has disappeared because there is no afterlife, just a continuation of Eternal Now.
I have no desire to compete with the world, for I AM the world.
I have no desire for material wealth.
It saddens me when I hear of people mourning the loss of a loved one, for that loved one is so much more alive now than they ever appeared to be. They mourn the loss of the form and the years of shared memories, and that is understandable.
To me, birth and death exist only in the mind that identifies with appearances. What truly is has never been born and can never die.
