Paying extra respect to Dolph Lundgren (Drago Sr) who was battling serious cancer during the filming of this, to the point where doctors only gave him a few months to live. Dolph, through sheer persistence, is now cancer free. That’s our Drago.

Creed was a love-letter to film Rocky.

Creed II is a love-letter to the entire franchise.

The last ten minutes of this movie is packed with emotional payoffs.

Drago throwing in the towel and accepting his son, Creed winning and visiting his dad and Rocky reconciling with his son and grandson.

Honestly this whole movie is about broken relationships between fathers and sons.

This movie mirrors Rocky 4 so much, that it's insane and you feel legitimately sorry for Victor Drago in this at the end because he and Donny became pawns in a war that wasn't theirs. Drago throwing in the towel made me cry.

The relationship between Victor and Ivan was very well done, even when its in the background, was very beautiful.

Out of all the Rocky/ Creed movies, this one broke me the most. The emotional scenes throughout this movie are insane. Then when Ivan threw the towel and embraced Viktor… I cried. It showed he’s not some robotic monster built in a lab. He’s really a father.

There's a deleted scene where Adonis talks to Viktor in the locker room after the fight where he gives Viktor a pep talk. Saying he's "more than just one fight" they should have left it in the final cut. But what I thought there should have been is a scene with Ivan Drago and Rocky where Drago shows SOME remorse and guilt over killing Apollo in the ring, and apologizes at least. That would have given some more closure

The best part of this movie is how it humanizes Drago.  We saw hints of it in Rock IV, but there is much more depth here.

I also love this as an epilogue to Rocky's journey.

I love how we get to see how the end of Rocky 4 Really impacted Drago and how when he lost the fight he lost everything, goes to show you how he was used for everything

When Victor's mother walked out in the last fight and he noticed it, you felt so sorry for him.

Rocky trained in the extreme cold.... Donnie trained in the extreme heat... Fire and Ice... I like the parallels

I absolutely loved the Viktor and Ivan Drago scenes and their acting. Drago was not a villain he was just from a different place

By far my favourite of these films. They fact they took the time, and showed the respect of showing Creed and Drago's stories.... it was so emotional. I remember watching Rocky 4 when I was young, and it stuck with me. This helped me let it go a bit.

There is a really good deleted scene from the locker room after the fight that you should look up. I'm pretty sure it's here on Youtube.

It was such a pleasure watching this whole Rocky saga with you! I had high hopes when you first started and you exceeded those.

Creed 3 is a shift in gears.  You'll most likely not get the same emotional release you got with this one.  I like it, but I love 2.

This is the best Creed II reaction I've ever seen. Thank you for allowing me to relive this story with you. Favorite saga of all time.

Perhaps one of the best squeals to an original movie (Rocky 4) where the main character are supporting actors now

The fact that you don't want either guy to lose shows just how good the writing is. You want to see that the "antagonist" doesn't fail. Besides that one dirty hit in the first fight, Drago isn't an evil villain. I hope you watch Creed 3 soon so you see the update on him. This movie ended the father/son storylines well. Creed 3 is more about the self-worth and what defines you. Please please watch it.

Also, the writing is so amazing just by watching you. I spent all day doing a marathon of all 8 of your reactions. You start the first one saying "I don't really do sports movies. So we will see." To the end of Rocky Balboa with you saying "I think I cried through the whole movie." To this one with you shouting, cheering, and crying.

The way they humanized Viktor Drago in this movie with just a couple of well written scenes is remarkable: remember that he has been the embodiment of a brainless thug for a whole generation. To revert that image through the love he felt for his son is truly admirable.

Despite how evil Ivan drago was portrayed, the embrace between him and viktor near the end was very emotional for me.
