Retin A and estrogen cream do 2 totally different things..they are not really comparable. I do both .I do put a little estrogen cream in the am before my moisturizer and sunscreen..I love it. I love my Retin A and use it at night. I'm also a huge fan of estrogen therapy and have been in it for 20 years.. I'm 70 now and doing great!

Around the mouth: I put every evening lip balm weleda or Dr.Hauschka or ricin oil!!!!..... i am 75 and nearly no lines around the mouth. Love from South of France

The medical community doesn't recognize diet as part of psoriasis, but I have known people that were able to make it better with diet adjustments. There is a gut skin connection.

I loce my derm colleagues and agree with much of this but have to point out a few things in case it helps anyone:
1) Biotin has no viable evidence showing it helps with hair growth unless you are biotin DEFICIENT (which trust me you’re not)
2) there is no evidence for the OTC Hair/skin/nail vitamins- again unless you have been tested and shown to be deficient in zinc, folic acid, iron
3) Glycolic acid/AHA is very likely to be totally unnecessary if you’re already on prescription strength retinoids - and may actually overdo it and damage your skin barrier
4) You will get the best benefit from your retinoid when you are using it every day - “breaks” aren’t preferred actually, and you should use the highest dose retinoid your skin can tolerate on a DAILY basis.

She said she did microneedling with PRP once .One time will not really do it. You have to do like 4 treatments like once a month for like 4 months and the after that maybe once every 3 or 4 months and it's amazing ..builds collagen makes your skin look so beautiful. Probably once of the best beauty treatments you can do for yourself.

Be very careful with hydroquinone. I used it as part of the Obagi regimen along with Retin-A. I used it for about 6 years with no breaks because it made my skin look amazing. I ended up with MDS (mylodysplasyic Syndrome) which turned into AML (leukemia). I had to have a stem cell transplant and by the grace of god, I am now cured. I hesitated to even post this because I have no proof it was the hydroquinone that caused the leukemia. Do your research and if you decide to use it I would urge you to take breaks and not to use it for long periods of time.

I've been using tallow moisturizer for over a year and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. You need a good quality brand and Purely Tallow is my top choice because its made in small batches by the owner herself and she is very picky about her ingredients. I use the Overnight Mask and its greasy, just how I want my skin to feel when I'm sleeping and my skin is super hydrated. Please look into this great brand. After my retinol, I apply the tallow. Then I put Aquaphor on my lips and my 55 year old skin still looks 35 easily.

My dermatologist removed many sunspots on my front thighs where I had a bad sunburn a few times. He just used liquid nitrogen. He told me that they think it works better than or as well as laser. And he did complimentary. It’s been 6 months and they aren’t back yet. Fingers crossed!

My daughter kept telling me to try something with peptides or active ingredients, but everything I found was either too harsh or too pricey.
