Punchline's joke=society is a joke and she's the chosen one to deliver this message!
Joker's joke=all of life itself is a joke! Therefore, Punchline is part of the joke and she doesn't get it

Punchline has gone full movie Joker, with fans cheering her as she's taken away, those fans wearing clown mask, and a feeling of being recognized. I think that's it, she wants a pedestal, and Joker gave her one, and she's making sure Gotham keeps her up there.

Sasha is waiting for the "Lois marries Punchline" story arc to happen so it will tie in nicely with her "Thirsty Lois" playlist!

Punchline is just one of those girls on tumblr who it way too into true crime/serial killers girls and simps over actual murderers.

I think that Punchline is playing everyone, the podcast seemed designed to draw in people who felt they had no power (like her in her first encounter with Joker) and then slowly turn them so they thought it was their own idea to follow her's/Joker's mentality.
I do think that the support at the court house took her by surprise though.

My partner overheard Sasha and asked if Sasha ever takes a breath. I said, no she edits out breaths. 😂

One particular interesting thing about this comic...is that it mentions that Gotham have capital punishment.

But to me that doesn't make any sense... since most villains and their goons go to Arkham or Black gate and just wait the next chance to escape.

Do Arkham is the size of small city or something? Is the bar for insanity is so low that everyone criminal avoids the chair with it?

She’s a fan girl of Joker the idea more than the man.

I'm just confused as to how she's allowed to have a podcast talking about The Joker.

If Gotham have captial punishment then how come Penguin is still alive? We're often told that Penguin is completely sane so it's baffling that he's still around.

Even though it was a little heavy handed at times, I thought it was a solid story and a good exploration of Punchline and how seemingly average people can be swayed to give support to people like her. I also liked the choice of art for this one, I would not have liked this art in a Batman book, but I think it was very fitting for this story because, at least to me, it conveyed a sense of fluidity that was not only fitting for the character's transition from Alexis to Punchline, but also fitting for the change she is causing within Gotham itself.

Punchline has the potential to be a great villain for a very long time. We will have to wait and see. I am hopeful

I love how when punchline kisses Joker, he looks like he’s cringing into her mouth. Like he’s thinking to himself, “is this gal for real? She knows my heart belongs to the Batman”😂

As of so far, I really like Punchline as a modern villain. I hope that she stays as interesting as this storyline is allowing her to be cause her warped choices and fanatical need to find the meaning behind chaos is pretty well done for a Batman villain who started out a protege.
